This zoo is specially designed so that the visitors come closest to the animals in the safest way possible. It has a modern and an open kind of displaying the wild animals in their natural habitats. There is hardly any cage separating the visitors from the wild animals like the conventional zoo. They are separated by hidden barriers, glass and moats. It does not even feel like you are in a zoo. You can enjoy a trip through this zoo sitting in one of these rides.

This zoo also organizes a lot of animal shows and programs for the entertainment of the visitors. The most famous and fascinating is the “Breakfast with Orangutans”. You can enjoy your breakfast with your family surrounded by Orangutans. “The Rain Forests Fight Back” is another interesting show to watch. The actors along with many animals perform their act in the Shaw Amphitheatre. Other shows include “Elephants at work and play”, “Splash Safari” and “Animal Friends”. Feeding the animals with special tokens is also available here. This zoo is also attached to a River Safari which contains a huge collection of freshwater aquatic animals.

This zoo serves as an amusement park for kids. The Rainforest Kidzworld will be the best place for your kids to hang out and enjoy. This zoo opens at 8:30 am and closes at 6 pm.
